Out of Africa Theory

For decades, paleoanthropologist have been in search of where the human race originated. One of the main theories is the Out of Africa theory. This hypothesis states that anatomically modern humans recently evolved from Africa and replaced all other populations that descended from Homo erectus. Human variation is a recent phenomenon.
